A Canadian man may have caught his own murder on voicemail. Adesegun Farquaharson called his voicemail seconds before he was shot. The recording has Farquaharson shouting immeidately prior to his death and records the voice of his murderer.
Murder detectives are trying to decipher the tape which they believe contains not only the cries of the victim but angry taunts of the killer. Twenty-Four year old Farquaharson was shot just after midnight outside of his family home in Toronto, Canada.
Homicide detectives believe that the victim new his life was in danger and dialed his own number to record the confrontation between himself and possibly two other men.
Whilst they are not saying definitively that the men recorded on the victims voice mail are the killers police acknowledge that as the recording took place so close to the murder that it is very probable that the men captured on the voicemail are the ones responsible for the crime.
The tape is being sent for forensic analysis in order to clear out background noises and be better analyzed.
Witnesses say two man fled Farquaharson's residence in a white, two door Civic hatchback. An abandoned vehicle similar to this description has been seized to determine whether it was in fact used to leave the scene.
No motive has been determined.
